Tuxedo jackets were worn over long leather coats, worn over tartan t-shirts. Loose silk pajama pants and kimono style coats with oriental prints recalled the East while a U2 t-shirt worn with a pin striped blazer brought us back to the West. Pieces were layered upon each other as if Kawakubo thought
“Why have one when I can have five?”
